About the Author B. Don Franks is a professor in the importance of science education and chair of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Maryland. Franks is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Academy of Kinesiology the importance of science education and Physical Education (AAKPE), the importance of science education and the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation the importance of science education and Dance (AAHPERD). Howley is a professor of exercise science at the University of Tennessee, where he frequently has been honored for his excellence in teaching.
